Democracy Assembly

KS2 were asked to vote on how to improve the school based on the following options:

1.Improve recycling
2.Create a buddy system for play and lunchtimes
3.Year 6 children could run a club
4.Improve links with the local community

School council members were invited to collect the votes and count them.

The majority was very clear as the children chose option 2 – they would like a designated area
of the playground to have a ‘Buddy Bench’ or ‘Buddy Bus Stop’

The results of the vote were shared in assembly today and Mrs Ronan, Mrs Moss and Mrs Armstrong will liaise on how best to create a ‘Buddy Area’.

Music Assembly

Just a little snippet of the children in music assembly. The children have a weekly music lesson, they play their recorders and learn new songs. They are currently practising for the summer concert in the church.

Our fantastic brass band will be playing at the Tower of London on Tuesday 12th June. Please wish them well!
