Dear Parents and Carers
I am pleased to be able to tell that you that after the recent Section 48 inspection the school was graded as outstanding. This is a well deserved judgement for all members of the school community. The Catholic life of the school is central to everything that we do and this is reflected in the judgement given. The children were a real credit to school and the inspectors did comment on how well behaved they were during the inspection. We have two recommendations and we are currently working on these to ensure that the school remains outstanding.
The staff worked really hard in preparation for the inspection and during the day itself. I would especially like to thank Mrs Sergeant for all her hard work as RE co-ordinator; this was noted by Dr Anne Bamford, the Director of Education, in her letter:
“Although not mentioned in the report, I know of the immense dedication and skill the RE subject Leader brings to her role.”
I would like to thank all of you who returned the questionnaires as your positive comments were noted by the two inspectors and supported what they saw during their visit.
The report is attached below. If you have any further questions regarding its content then please do come and speak to me.
Mr Matthew Ringham
